Still enjoying the view over London
Houses of Parliament
One view over London - Buckingham Palace and St James's Park are both in the centre of this picture where all the vegetation is. By the time we got to the top it was all clearly visible.

On the banks of the River Thames, London
Pam Minett, my friend, and I travelled up to London by coach on a special trip to meet up with Anna, who is currently living in London and to visit the London Eye. Needless to say, half an hour out of Exeter, Devon we ended up out in the countryside - lost! We, therefore arrived in London beside the London Eye an hour late to find Anna sitting on the steps waiting for us. We had told her of the delay by mobile phone - thank goodness. One does not expect to get lost between Exeter and London in the year 2001! This was a real coach not the four horses drawn type although you could be forgiven for thinking it was so. Anyway a good day was had by all - no photos of Pam as she does not like being photographed. The wheel is 175 metres high and revolves once every half an hour. It is situated on the Banks of the River Thames, London, virtually opposite the Houses of Parliament.
