Beautiful view of a canal
As I did not get an overall picture of the canal that the Boat Yard is situated next to, this photograph is very similar (with a little licence!) to the one seen from Castle Mill Boat Yard, looking from the yard. The yard would be to the 'right of this' and this would be the view beside 'Under Milkwood' which is up on dry ground. The canal was  full of narrowboats when I saw it.  Even the bridge is in the same position!  There were more buildings on the right hand side of the canal at Castle Mill Boat Yard, but this gives still an idea of the beauty and tranquility of the area.  Thanks to Wallpaper World for the photo.

A complete refit is being done to 'Under Milkwood' in the boat yard. This is the narrow boat that my brother Ferd owns.

On the right of the picture is the Restaurant Narrow Boat 'Rosamund

Please note my valiant little Mini in the left hand corner of the photo after
her long trip from Exmouth in Devon to Jericho, Oxford.
