Modified distributor giving 14 degrees of static advance and 34 degrees of total advance at 3,000 rpm and above Duplex timing chain Late model HIF and one and a half inch SU Averages 45 miles per gallon around town I acquired her in December 1998 and it was such fun to drive. I also like having a vehicle that is instantly recognizable and has such a great following. I really miss driving this car as it had the modified engine and was great for 'take-off'. I
have seen the new Mini on the roads and I have sat inside one. It is undoubtedly
a very nice car, well made and I like the retro dashboard, but quite a
large car in comparison to the original. One day it may attract the same
following but I still like mine which really is a mini car.

Along with the addition of the white stripes on the bonnet this gave us the very distinctive Mini Cooper and Cooper S. What a combination!
